All-New Peugeot 208 & e-208 scoop up 'Best Small Car' award at 2020 What Car? awards

The All-New Peugeot 208's attention grabbing appearance and plush interior has bagged it the highly coveted 'Best Small Car' title, at the 2020 What Car? awards! This is another huge award win for the All-New Peugeot 208, after being named 'most reliable small car' in the J.D Power Customer Satisfaction awards. Aside from it's new edgier looks, the judges also felt the New Peugeot 208 for 2020 offered a much more comfortable drive than the Audi A1, with lots of helpful safety tech such as automatic braking and lane keeping assistance as standard. The panel also loved the highly futuristic feel of the 208's interior and found it incredibly fun to drive as a whole.

The voting panel at What Car? said:

"The 208's Puretech 100 (engine) is a really zingy motor that picks up nicely from low revs and feels gutsy in the mid-range. It's absolutely ideal for propelling you along on A-roads and motorways without any fuss, and is livelier than a Clio or Polo with equivalent power. The 127bhp Puretech 130 (available only with an automatic gearbox) adds even more pace, but for most it will just be an unnecessary expense, considering that the 100 is so good".
