Clio saves on fuel

The Renault Clio 1.3 dCi Expression is one of Richard Hammond’s top cars recommended to "save a fortune on fuel".

He explains: "Just launched, this new Clio has emissions of only 94g/km and has a combined economy of 78.4mpg. I’d imagine a real world consumption of around 65mpg would be easy to achieve.

"The best thing about this new 90hp diesel Clio is its purchase price. At £12,200 in three-door form it undercuts almost all of its rivals."
