Chris and Eamon from Bells Crossgar are participating in a Paris - Coventry 'Charity Cycle' for Children in Need!
Our brave colleagues Chris Jess and Eamon Bell are to take on a high-endurance cycling challenge from France to Coventry to support and raise money for Children in Need! Not for the Faint-hearted, the boys will be starting from the Paris HQ of Peugeot and cycling for 4 days (in the saddle) to the finish line at Peugeot’s Coventry Headquarters! The Charity Bike Challenge will be taking place in just under 4 weeks on the 21st of May to the 24th of May.
The boy's training has been going well so far thanks to the great weather here in the last few weeks!
Speaking of the challenge Eamon said, “The Charity Cycle will be the biggest piece of fundraising we have done to date and certainly one of the most challenging things I have ever set out to complete. Any donations no matter how big or small would be greatly appreciated and will go a long way in helping us reach our target of £2000”.
The cycling challenge is just one of many fundraising events taking place at Peugeot Dealerships across the country, to help the automotive brand reach its £1 million target for its third year of its official partnership with BBC Children in Need.
Bells Crossgar have been actively involved every year raising money for the charity and will also be holding a ‘Charity Car Wash’ with Pudsey the Bear on the 8th & 9th of May 2015.
Chris Jess, Peugeot Sales Manager at Bell’s Crossgar, said “We’re both really looking forward to taking on this challenge for such a great cause, which helps disadvantaged children and young people across the country”.
